This page is intended for sailing club members who need the services of one of our volunteer groups. Below are the groups that are currently available to help other members.
Windward Guides: For club members who are boat owners and need the assistance of an experienced member in one or more areas, including new boat setup, rigging, troubleshooting, or maintenance. We don't do the work for you; we are here to assist you by sharing our knowledge and acting as a "helping hand".
We are not here to handle emergencies! If you have an emergency, please dial 911.
To find a Windward Guide who has expertise in the area you need, call or send an email to our group leader who will help match you up with one of our volunteers! Our current Windward Guide group leader is Steven Stein. Contact Steve at webmaster@sailthevillages.org or 352-350-3732. He will then try to find a guide to help you.
