Intro to Sailing

In early 2026, The Villages Sailing Club is considering starting up An Introduction to Sailing Course for our novice members. You must be a member of the club to attend (membership open only to residents of The Villages). See the home page of our website for more information on joining.

The goal of the course is to ensure that all club members can work as active crew safely when sailing on club member’s boats.

There is no charge, but a nominal contribution is accepted to help defray our costs. 

Time Commitment:

• Two-hour classroom session

• Four-hour hands-on session at Lake Miona

Timeframe: Early 2026 (Feb?)
